My Experience at Dorchester Hotel - London

Today I decided to have my breakfast at Dorchester hotel in London. I knew that Dorchester hotel is a very well known, and one of the prestigious hotel in London located in Park Lane area. Certainly, the hotel is not short of luxury, and has beautiful decoration. It is close to Christmas, and I loved to just indulge myself with some luxury.

Ok, the customer service is very good, and surely the staff know how to welcome you. You will enjoy a nice coffee and a Organic juice of your choice before ordering your breakfast. The menu is simply an average menu, and I seriously expected a bit more from this hotel. I ordered an Organic British Breakfast, and my friend ordered an English Breakfast. Do not ask me what is the difference between these two? but simply my food was organically sourced!!  The breakfast was not a 5 start breakfast, and simply did not have the best taste.

To put it simply, an Ordinary Breakfast in an Extraordinary Setting.

Food and Dining

I have a great interest in food and dining at different restaurants. Different cultures represent different tastes of foods, and different styles of dining. When you are in the Middle East, the way people eat and dine is dramatically different from how Europeans dine and eat their food.  When you go to a restaurant to eat, there is not just food that you would like to enjoy; certainly there are other factors such as your experience in that particular restaurant, decoration, customer service, and most importantly the value for money. I have eaten in lots of restaurants, and some good and some bad.  But something is crystal clear and that is that we  tend not to return to the restaurants that we did not have a good experience in. Anyway, let's get to the point here, and the point is why I have created this blog, and why I think you should read it.

The purpose of this blog:
  • to give some knowledge about what to expect when you dine at  restaurants;
  • to provide you 'the reader' about my experience of dining at different restaurants; and
  • to recommend you places that you should dine at.
